Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day to all of the moms out there! My family had some people over for brunch today, and boy was it good! We had pancakes, potatoes, sweet rolls from elmwood bakery, bacon, and a casserole. Then we opened presents and cards. My mom enjoyed her Mother's Day. I hope everyone else did too.

The Cleveland Art Museum

Yesterday I want to the Cleveland Art Museum. They have a new technology system were you bring your iPad and there is an app called ArtLens so you can scan certain artworks and it will tell you more about it like who painted it, what inspired it, who might be in the picture, and even some videos! Also,  it tracks where you are in the museum so you know were you are going or if there is certain part of the museum that you want to see. I had a great time at the museum with my family. I hope to go back some time soon.

Happy Easter!

Easter is one of my favorite holidays because I get all of my favorite candy! It was VERY EXITING. My family went to my cousins' house for an Easter breakfast and egg hunt for my little cousins Lily and Finn. They are only three years old so we just spread the eggs out on their front lawn. After breakfast, my other cousins, the Duke kids, came over for linner, which is lunch and dinner combined. We were all saying we had a very yellow dinner. There was pineapple, corn, croissant rolls, and to drink I had orange juice. After dinner I was playing volleyball and a card game called garbage. Overall I had a great Easter. I hope it is the same next year! 😜

Oberlin Choristers Honor Choir

Today I performed at Lorain Community College for honors choir. I sing in my schools choir and my music teacher got to pick 13 people to perform. We got to spend the day there and practice all of our songs with the other elementary schools. Though the only bad part of it was that we had to stand for most of the time. But other than that, it was awesome! I would love to go next year!

What I learned from this amazing experience was that you have to watch the conductor at all times or else you won't be with the rest of the group and that is just embarrassing! 😁
